Grievance Officer (India IT Rules 2021)

Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, intermediaries operating in India are required to designate a Grievance Officer. For Yapp, that is:

  • Role: Grievance Officer

  • Acknowledgement: within 24 hours of receipt
  • Resolution: within 15 days, in line with Rule 3(2)(a)

For content that you believe is unlawful and needs urgent removal (e.g. CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, immediate threat to safety), please mark the email subject URGENT — those are prioritised.
